Events that motivated the participants in the french Revolution were that the cut monarchy was in a state of perpetual financial crisis. The people pushed to serve at their views heard and they takeed to be able to do this without the head ache of being executed for having an opinion. Also the French monarchy had been losing the self-assurance of the French people for the past several years. Ideas such as liberty, equality, and res publica were recognized for a time period during the French Revolution.
